Gingeranyhow has produced a clever set of embroidered text messages. Entitled “Embroidered Text Messages, received 02/06-04/07″ the series of twenty are simple and effective.
Each piece recreates the mobile phone screen with good effect, including battery level and signal strength bars, and the messages range from the mundane to the rather dark.

I'm in love with these. The second one kind of gives me chills.It makes me want to sew up a couple choice ones from my archives. Perhaps "Kraft single mother fucker" and "should farts have chunks?"
ooops i meant needlepoint cause that's definitely not cross stitch
very interesting! i've never seen a text message in cross stitch form but it's a great idea! i'll have to go check out her site now
