This week I have mostly been… 181208

Watching: Testees. Two thirty something men – Peter and Ron – who make their money by being guinea pigs for a drugs company. The latest episode, Jelly Bean Omelettes (where Peter takes an overdose of the muscle relaxant and is paralysed, leaving Ron to look after him) had me in tears of laughter. If you can download it, or watch, just do it. One of the best new comedies in ages. Episode 3, where the two chaps get brainwashed and their friend exacts revenge on them for an earlier gay prank is another cracking moment.
Just go and watch it, dagnammit! :)

Listening to: I seem to have been listening to quite a lot of soulful house while I’ve been working of late. I’m quite a fan of Masters at Work (not to be confused with Men at Work) and “Until the End of Time” by Joey Negro & The Sunburst Band is also good for a bit of uplifting motivating tuneage.

Reading:Next Wave by Warren Ellis and Stuart Immonen. Good butt-kicking comedy comic by Warren Ellis with excellent artwork by Stuart Immonen. Good use of obscure Marvel comic characters; it’s a shame that it only lasted for twelve issues. Immonen is just a great artist – get the graphic novels out from the library and enjoy it.

Holy cow, Testees is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time! I started with the third episode – I was almost crying at the end. :D

I’ve seen a couple of issues of Freakangels and at some point I plan on churning through the back issues. I will take your super recommendation and run with it! Thanks Tili!
