Valued Sony Customer, VSC for short, or Katrina to her friends, is one of my very favorite subversive cross stitchers. She has a knack for matching the perfect font with the perfect borders with the perfect frames, thereby transforming vulgar words and phrases into lovely little works of art.
She made this piece for a friend of her mother who often says this phrase:
This piece was apparently inspired by a story involving someone eating Olestra chips, I assume with disgusting and/or hilarious results:
These two pieces reside at her desk at work. They are both only 2 inches square, so they are able to be tucked away to avoid workplace harrassment issues. So much better than successory posters!
This is a work in progress that I cannot wait to see completed. It is being made in honor of a particularly annoying co-worker. VSC chose a font that is a little difficult to read so she might be able to get away with displaying it at work:
It’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. Please, Katrina, don’t stop anytime soon. Keep. Making. More.
If you want to see more from Valued Sony Customer, you can check out her photostream on flickr (including some very cool pixel block art) or her blog.

These pieces are FABULOUS!!! Just what I needed to see to make my day today!!! Hee hee!
NICE! She does some awesome stuff!
Fantastic. BUT! Wah! I can’t read that last vulgar word. What does it say??
Foo – the stitch reads “Whore Bag Cum Dumpster” – isn’t it lovely?
Wow, I’m glad you guys like my work so much!
Unfortunately I’m the original ADD crafter and skip from project to project, leaving trails of half finished work in my wake. But I’m trying to complete more of them.
Oh, and the last three are all about the same annoying crafter. You might say I can’t loath her enough.

hehe, ace! i love the last one.
“Shut your whore mouth” … totally my favorite
You rock my socks, VSC. I only hope to get as good at this as you someday.
