Mooosh, the guiding force behind the Miso Funky empire of awesomeness sent me a flyer for the UK Craft Mafia Show that takes place in Manchester from 20th March to 2nd May.
First of all, the flyer is just awesome! Just what you want to highlight the edgy style of new UK crafting talent. Among the exhibitors are Ildiko Szabo and her freeform crochet; Kate Broughton and her embroidered brooches; Helen Musselwhite’s amazing paper sculptures and Debbie Greenaway’s badges and illustrations.
It is going to be one seriously cool exhibition. The UK Craft revolution is gaining momentum, and shows like this can only help raise people’s awareness. Personally I don’t think I’ll be able to make it this year (BUMMER!), but if you’re reading this and you’re in the vicinity, please go along and let me know what you think.
