The X-Men has always been a firm favourite comic of mine, pretty much since I started collecting comics. And the artwork of Jack Kirby was essential in defining these characters in the early days. To be honest I didn’t really appreciate his work until later in life, but given that he was doing it in the 1950′s and 60′s it really is sublime work. However, I digress.
