Beefranck’s Emporium – Monsterosity

Welcome to Mr X Stitch! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Come on in, there's lots of inspiration stitching for you to enjoy!

beefrancks-emporiumMonsterosity, aka Adam, aka Ads, designs the coolest plushies I have seen in a long, long time – and this is a girl who sees a lot of plushies. Originally from Australia, Ads is currently living in Japan where he works as a teacher by day and works on his designs at night. Check out this green-eyed monster:
portiaIt’s easy to see the incredible amount of creativity and skill that went into these pieces. This one, Stag, is currently residing with its lucky owner in New York City:
stagFurdamon is a very special creature as he is made of recycled materials including faux fur and leather coats once owned by the Ads’ mother:
furdamonLast but certainly not least, this is White Fire Cherry Blossom – my precious. To me he looks like some sort of temple guardian, or a samurai warrior in full armor – except the armor is made of fabulousness. I fell in love with him the moment I saw him, which is why Ads has been kind enough to reserve him for me until the day comes when I can arrange for his shipment to America.
whitefire2Ads also designs other things – costumes, bags, and things for the home, like these awesome pillows:
monpillowsIf you want to see more – and come on, you know you do! – You can check out his flickr photostream or his etsy store. He’s having a sale for a limited time, so this is the perfect chance for you to own some plushie perfection!

Ads is awesome. He’s a phenomenal monster maker and an unbelievably talented costume designer. And a damned decent bloke as well. :)

Oh wow, these are awesome! I love esp. the hair on all the creatures! And the flame detail on the one coming home to you is spectacular!
