Stitchgasm! – Ruby42’s Lesbian Porn! NSFW!

by Mr X Stitch on 18 April 2009

Another Stitchgasm from Mr X Stitch
Ruby42 busts open the boundaries of conventional embroidery a bit more with this explicit piece of stitched sex! It’s well executed, and I can tell that she’s going to excel in this genre. Apologies if you find this offensive, but we don’t! :)

So well done. I knew Ruby would rock embroidery. :)

I love you guys even more than I love stitching porn.

I’m not a prude and I would stand up for anyone’s right to their expressions. I’ve seen some stuff here that’s made me tilt my head a little and I finally have to ask, what’s next? Someone taking a dump in someone elses mouth? Anything goes nowadays, I guess, including taste.

I don’t particularly think this is well done, either. Or maybe it’s just the poor picture quality.

But hey! Keep on stitchin’!

Hi Foobella,
Thanks for your comment.
I think boundaries will be pushed and I think that’s good, provided they’re done well. Ruby’s work challenges expectations but it’s well executed. I think there are limits and I think the example of someone taking a dump is a good one, and would be universally recognised as crap (no pun intended). Similarly I don’t think that anything that deliberately sets out to be offensive would ever make it on here. That’s not how we roll.
Ruby’s work is not the first example of this type of thing I’ve seen, and I suspect it won’t be the last. But I have a fair idea when these types of work are beneficial to the growth of the craft movement, and when they exist simply to shock. Ruby’s work challenges people’s ideals because of its content, but the shock comes from the unexpected juxtaposing of explicit imagery and embroidery. This is why this piece works. A stitchery of a person screwing an animal would shock, but for all the wrong reasons.
For me that’s why this piece is on here.

Mr X Stitch is committed to expanding the awareness of the new craft movement and in supporting crafters who want to explore this genre. Sometimes it’s going to be awkward, but once these limits are tested, a natural level will be found and that evolutionary step will be a benefit to everyone involved.

I think this is totally amazing & beautifully executed.

Thank you for the reply, Mr XStitch. Don’t worry, I find nothing shocking about the act of sex or even of it being imortalized in embroidery thread. =) My point was about individual tastes. This is just not my cup of tea. My private parts are private. I still believe in the power and seduction of mystery and not putting it all out there. Because, really, once we get desensitized to these images all over the place, there will be no where left to go but (excuse my pun) down the crapper.

I still love your blog and I want to thank you for being respectful of my differing opinion. It’s greatly appreciated.

I like this – always good to see something new and this is certainly that (to me at least). I’m really glad I didn’t click on it at work tho :)

As someone who designed some 70s porn cross stitch designs as a commission for A WEDDING PRESENT…. like it!

(Actually what was funnier was when my husband would come home and I’d be there trying to get the nipple to look right and he’d just watch a moment, make a suggestion or two and wander down and make us a cup of tea. As if that’s exactly what a husband expects to find when he comes home.)

The fact that this is shocking is what makes it amazing art. People’s reactions are strong and I think that is the intended effect. Bravo to Ruby for making us reach a new level of “woah!” (p.s. imagine that, my husband gives it two thumbs up)

This isn’t my cup of tea, but so what. It’s well done, and for those who prefer not to see frank imagery, the title of the post very clearly states what it is.

I’m glad when people feel free to express themselves, and I appreciate your highlighting interesting works.

I hope the apology is because it is sex, and not because it is *gasp* gay sex. I hope the same apology would be offered for straight sex.
