Time for another look at some of the great work featured in the Needlecraft section at Craftster. Note: Although they’re the pick of this week, they may have appeared before this week.
The pick this week is was posted by Aliped. Some of her friends are having their first child. She decided to make a black and white embroidered portrait of the parents as a gift for the baby.
It’s really well done and a sweet sentiment, too. Aliped was quite thoughtful with this gift, incorporating a fact that she had learned about black and white images being soothing to newborns. You can read more about that in the original post, where she links to the article she read about it.
