Hey everybody! This week I’m featuring the eclectic and anomalous Saint Lucy Belle, aka Barbara Randall.

Barbara’s work doesn’t fit into a specific category, unless that category is simply awesome.

Here we see her take on the American icon which is the Jackalope. Enigma indeed!

Her stitching is excellent, but her sense of humor adds something special to every piece she creates.

This piece speaks of love and loss. Also, snarkiness.

This stitched portrait of Lily Munster is deliciously campy. It’s also full of beautiful details, though, like the lovely fabric she used for the dress.

This pretty pinup likes long stumbles on the beach and enjoying a romantic dinner of brains over candlelight. She hates shotguns, chainsaws, and phoneys.
If you want to see more of Barbara’s work, check out her flickr photostream or her etsy store. There are all sorts of goodies waiting for you!

Thanks for the nice words, Lady P. Here at Mr X Stitch we use the Beefranck 3000 Search Engine. It’s still in beta version but it does a top notch job of researching, writing and posting excellent articles on the finest stitchers around.
