Here at Mr X Stitch, we know that Severija Incirauskaite-Kriaunevicience isn’t the only person embroidering on metal work, and so we were over the moon to see LynetteA’s contribution to the Phat Quarter swap, a fingerprint stitched on a silver platter.

She calls it “The Anatomy of Identity” – we call it freaking awesome!
Lynette’s a goldworker who is branching out into embroidery as well. Here’s a selection of some of her works:

Above: “Flora” embroidery on a silver tray. Below: Commissioned Ring – silver, copper and embroidery.

Above: “Sister Shadow” – embroidered silver platter. Below: “Slipping Away” – embroidered silver platters.

You can find out more about her at her blog, and buy some of her magnificence at her etsy store. Fantastic work!

Amazing work. I love the slipping away one
I’ve been admiring her work for a long while now and am so glad she was featured and that we’re both members of Phat Quarter! Look at me hangin’ with all the cool kids (finally)!
I was so thrilled to see that the first piece was a part of the Phat Quarter swap. I’ve been lurking in her photostream and didn’t even realize she was taking part in the swap. Her work is amazing!
Those are just awesome pieces. I so want a ring like that only with cross stitch instead of french knots
Thank you, thank you!
You guys are wayyy too nice!
