Mr X Stitch presents the Cutting & Stitching Edge

Natalie Horton is a third year student currently at Bath Spa University studying a BA in Creative Arts. She makes cells.

Well alright, technically all sentient beings make cells, but Natalie makes them from felt and PVC and stitching.

There’s something very modern and stylish about them. And also something slightly fetishistic.

It’s great work, from a technical perspective the work in stitching the cells together is commendable. It will be interesting to see what she comes up with next.

I’m a sucker for the science-y stuff and have really enjoyed seeing these.
