Time for another look at some of the great work featured in the Needlecraft section at Craftster. Note: Although they’re the pick of this week, they may have appeared before this week.
This week’s pick was brought to us by coldasashes. She’s a talented stitcher who has been featured here previously – see that post here.
What got our attention this time was the lovely robot ladies she embroidered. Take a look!
These cyborg beauties were made to be displayed at a robot themed art show. She came up with the idea for the project because she decided “the only thing that could possibly make robot parts better are lady parts.”
I just love the way she exposed their cold interior, especially the “wires” spilling out:

These are so very very cool.
