This Steampunk light bulb embroidery was created by Carly.
She printed an old Sears catalog page on some muslin and wrapped the hoop with wire to add to the effect.

Not entirely germane to this piece, but I can’t help but remember it when I see those catalog pages: the Wendy’s fast food restaurant near my house as a child had tables covered in these sorts of advertisements. Looking at them I can’t help but remember eating many a Kid’s Meal while re-reading the same ads over and over again.
