Beefranck’s Emporium – Poetry Slam

Happy Monday, everyone! I’ve noticed a lot of stitched poetry out there lately, so I thought I’d share some of it with you.

This is an excerpt from an ee cummings poem stitched by yarnattacks. The font and the simplicity works really well with cummings, don’t you think?

This might look like a hand written letter, but it is actually a poem that has been embroidered onto a linen handkerchief. Nat Quintos Uhing used variegated floss to add to the handwritten look of this piece. She even made a fabric envelope to keep it in. It’s obvious that these poems hold a special meaning to the people who took the time and the effort to stitch them, and I’m glad that they did so and shared them with the world. I hope you enjoyed looking through them, too.
