The Cutting (& Stitching) Edge post this week featured some of the works by German artist Silke Krah.
Her embroideries are terrific, but some of them were a bit too saucy for a normal post. So here they are!
There’s a definite retro feel to these pieces.
Or at least that’s what some of my more well-informed associates tell me!

I love that cross hatching thang she has got going on for shading, really effective.
Hell-thefuck-o, Silke Krah. Wow. I am in love. The style is phenomenal and unique. Someone just skyrocketed to the top of my list of favorites.
