A slightly different kind of stitchgasm today, but the sheer genius of this idea catapults it into the stitchgasm league.
Over on etsy, SeptemberHouse is selling blank calendars for next year, printed on cotton fabric. They measure approx 7 inches by 14 inches and have a space at the top for you to embellish however you see fit. And now’s the time to get them so you can stitch them up in time for a particular religious festival whose name I cannot mention because it’s still September.

As soon as thejoyofjess posted her doodle stitched calendar, I hearted SeptemberHouse on etsy. I have to get some of these calendars!
I like the idea they show in the shop photos of using stitches to circle important dates.
This is like the lovechild of an embroidered tea towel and the calendar towels of days gone by. I love it!
I ended up buying a handful of her calendar blanks. I’m almost overwhelmed with everything I can do with them. They are SO amazing.
