Kate Talbot is an artist and an illustrator who enjoys creating “ironic iconic” imagery.
She is inspired by all sorts of subjects. She has created some new takes on some very recognizable pieces of fine art, like these:

This last piece, based off of the famous painting “The Scream” is simply titled “Arrgh”.
She also creates homages to things that are part of every day life.

Like Marmite, whether you love it or hate it.

And this can of beans complete with a spoon, a drizzle down the side and a lone bean stuck to the lid of the can.

She’s done some stitched portraits of some interesting characters as well. This woman, Trixie, shows up a few times in her work.

I love this portrait of a couple getting married.

And this unlikely Adonis.
