Ah social media. You can’t keep up with it and you can’t live without it.
Here at Mr X Stitch we like to think we’re pretty savvy with all these social media formats these days – we’ve got a Facebook Fan Page, a Twitter account and even a couple of Flickr groups. We’ve not made inroads into video just yet, but we do have an association with a podcast that is not for the faint of sensibilities.
But now we’ve got a new social media toy to play with – Tumblr.
Tumblr’s cool – it’s microblogging, but unlike Twitter you can post links, photos, video and audio. But unlike normal blogs, this is just kinda snappy – post a picture, kapow! Upload a tune for your followers to dig, zing! It’s reeeeeally easy.
I’ve got a tumblr, Beefranck’s got a tumblr, heck even my wife’s got a tumblr!

woohoo! i use tumblr as my blogging platform, mainly because it’s SO simple to use! i use it mainly to post photos, but i’ve just gotten into the whole “reblog” feature and it’s pretty cool.
