Zombie Cross Stitch Giveaway!

by Beefranck on 29 October 2010

Hi everybody! Hey, remember when we told you about the awesomeness that is Zombie Cross Stitch?

Well, thanks to the generosity of the awesome Kristy Kizzee, who authored the book along with Erika Kern, we’ve got a copy of Zombie Cross Stitch to give away to one of you!

Cheers! Fanfare!

Here’s how it works – leave a comment on this post. Since today’s theme is zombie and horror related, let’s have the comment be what book, movie, or television show you think would be better with a dash of horror mixed in. Maybe Ghoulish Gilmore Girls, or Sexy in the City & Slither, or Date Night of the Living Dead. Leave the comment by midday on Thursday, November 4th. We will use a random number generator to pick a winner and announce it to the world on Friday, November 5th. Comment away, won’t you? Thank you!

A Nightmare on Sesame Street... One, Two, Elmo's coming for you! or Newsnight of the the Living Dead. Zombie Jeremy Paxman eats the brains of his unsuspecting guests. In some cases, it might be slim pickings ;)

I like the idea of Zombie Betty (instead of Ugly Betty) where they worry about what they will wear beyond the grave haha!

i would love to have some zombies on house. let's see him solve THAT medical mystery!

Oops! The parentheses above should say (or would that make the show man vs. zombie food?)

How about Man vs. Food vs. Zombies? Adam would have to take on a food challenge AND a zombie challenge - say, eat a 4 lb hamburger then a 4 lb. brain? (or that make the show man vs. zombie food?)I'd love to have the cross stitch book - my husband considers himself a bit of a zombie expert, so I think he'd be jazzed if I made him something for his cubicle!

Small wonder, one of my favorite shows from my childhood. Seeing Vikki in a zombie costume would be fabulous!

Community! Oh, they DID a zombie episode. And it was amazing.Ok, then, either The Breakfast Club (Brains are for Breakfast) or Seinfeld (NEWmannn...stop eating my brains)

i'd love some zombies in the big bang theory! it´s my favourite show at the moment! thanks for the giveaway!!

Sister Wives leading Zombie Lives!

Dancing with the Dead Stars? Lucille Ball, Vincent Schiavelli, and Tiny Tim dust themselves off to become contestants on next season's show - and you thought more than their careers were dead!Stay tuned for our big surprise - Elvis Presley will guest star!

How about Simon Pegg movies that join together and make awesomeness. Basically a guy and his kooky neighbors are running from zombies while kililng them. Run, Shawn of the Spacey Fuzzy Dead, Run. :P

The addition of zombies to any reality show would make them palatable. I'd love to see the contestants on Survivor stuck on an island full of zombies or the crowd from Biggest Loser trying to escape a horde.I also have to agree with the above suggestions of zombie(s) on The Golden Girls. Zombea Arthur! Too. Good.

Would have to be Bones! Where they go digging up their friends instead of solving crime.

Oh! And I forgot the tv show. I think that there would be a great version of Gilligan's Island if some Zombies (or at least one) ended up on the island with them somehow! Bet Gilligan would have gotten into some Shenanigans with that in the mix!Or The Nanny! Could you imagine Fran's voice in a gnarl or growling tone? Haha!

Isn't this the one of the best things to come from the zombie popularity? I have to say I've had my eye ( the severed on of course) on this at B&N for a while, especially the "I <3 Stiff Drinks" pattern!

My pick would be Zombies of Anarchy ... zombies on motorcycles would definitely improve their "motor" skills! haha I'd also like Fringe Zombies - they discover yet another dimension with a zombie world.

How about Halloween 5-0 instead of Hawaii 5-0?????

modern family of flesh-eating bat-people

I would love to see a Mythbusters special where they test for the best way to despatch zombies and other ghoulish (non)beings! That would be amazing.

How about Sesame Street? After 40 years, I think it's high time for a zombie invasion.

So many, many great suggestions here!!!How about adding some Zombies and Ghosts to the "Sons of Anarchy" trip to Ireland? Thanks for the chance to win.

The Golden Girls. How about the Golden Gouls or 28weeks of the Golden Girls. Old lady zombies are the best.

Happy Halloween!! Would love to win:)

MMM BRAINS! No I'm not a zombie, if I was I'd be the smartest one though, they are to stupid to use a computer, let alone open a door. I would cross stitch and leave things out for them, just to let them know that they are not left out, even if we don't quite get their culture.

CSI: Zombie Apocalypse, Gray's (internal) Anatomy

Oh, for me it's got to be Strictly Come Zombie Dancing! And there's a whole host of preschool telly that would benefit from the appearance of zombies - how about a zombie In the Night Garden? Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Zombies would be cool. And then there's Dora the Undead Explorer...kids' nightmares would never be the same :-)

27 UN-DEAD Dresses I think would be kwel! Thanks for the chance to win the book.

Really, the inclusion of zombies into any reality shows would work. Dancing with the Zombies? Comedy gold!

Oh there are so many funny suggestions here already :DWhat about Wuthering Heights becoming Wuthering Frights? Oh yes Heathcliff, it's Cathy at your window and she wants your BRAINS!

TV: - Dead and Desperate Housewives - The Mentalist and the MummyTa muchly for the comp. :)

Weekend at Bernies Meets The Living Dead. Thanks.

Ghostlee (rather than Glee), I might watch it if it was singing spectres rather than teenage kiddies!

There's so many great suggestions been made, I really want to watch Zombie Survivor and Zombie Wife Swap. My suggestion would be Americas Next Top Zombie. They've got the looks, now they need to learn to lurch the lurch. I can just hear Tyra: "You need to develop a signature shamble!"

What goes with horror? ROMANCE, that's what. Those Mills & Boon / Harlequin romances (that appear to be churned out by the brain-dead, for the brain-dead :D) could do with some horror! What about one where the hero gets mortally wounded, but still comes back for the love of his life? And she must learn to love him all over again, stitches and all. Yessir, that'd be a better read!

Zombie Wife Swap... this time, the wives are swapped with ZOMBIES! and the family has to last the week without having their brains eaten.

Glee would be funny if Brittney (the ditzy cheerleader) would become a zombie and try to eat everyone's brains.

How about Haunted "House"! or "Being Human" Even If You're Not!

The West Wing. The characters go off on another of their witty, rapid-fire, all too aware of their own cleverness, WTF ever banters as they stride through the maze that is the White House's internal structure. And then zombies tear them to pieces.

That's awesome! I saw that at a store and wanted it :)

Zombies- cool!I think the world's great unwritten Horror classic must be Anne of Gory Gables by Lucy Mauled Montgomery. Orphaned Anne is sent from the orphanage to live with Morticia and Matthew Cut-throat, a pair of vampires, in their haunted house of Gory Gables. She soon makes friends with disturbed zombie Die-Anna Buried, and starts an on-going feud with the creepy Gilbert Scythe when he mocks her demonic red hair.... Anne's joy in death earns her a place within the undead community, as she learns to bring doom to all with a song in her heart...

So You Think You Can Dance - with zombies

I don't think that even decrepit zombies could have made Gretchen's clothing line any uglier on Project Runway, but if they had eaten her it would have been more entertaining.(Also Mondo's line still would have rocked worn by zombies! Would have brought out the green in their skin tone.)

Hasn't Grey's Anatomy featured zombies since it began? Or is that just the bad acting?

I think Glee could use some zombie students to join their club!!!

How about Horror House on the Prairie? I can see Ma and Pa fighting off ghosts and little Laura Ingalls becoming one. LOLThanks for the fun contest.

All in the Family - Archie Bunker as a zombie?!?!

'Home and Away' has been populated by zombies for years, they've just been hushing it up....

Project Zombie, contestants could piece together the most attractive parts of zombies :)

I think "The Big Blood Theory" would be great!
