Hi everybody! I wanted to take some time out to brag about some of the awesome stuff that was made for the movie swap we had recently at the Phat Quarter, the official Mr X Stitch Flickr group. Go pop some corn and grab a soda and we’ll begin!

This piece from Shaebay was inspired by the fabulous and brutal Party Monster.

GigglyMama made this beautiful piece inspired by Amelie.

It’s not immediately evident what movie this represents…

Until you see the text, anyway. This Silence of the Lambs stitch was made by Riann.

Filmresearch managed to work his current 99 Coelacanths project with this stitch inspired by Monster on the Campus.

This cute take on Shaun of the Dead was made by Lisa’s Tea Time.

Ponyinarope did an antique style cross stitch that honors Shaun of the Dead, too.

Robyn Enz made this lovely piece inspired by The Princess Bride.

This Little Shop of Horrors homage was made by Giddy99

Relaxolotl made this stitch of a famous scene from Star Wars.

And this cross stitched version of Frank from Donnie Darko is from crafty & devious.
