Hi everybody! It’s Saturday, and you know what that means – so if you’re ready, say hi to Follow The White Bunny’s bear and get to it!

IF YOU READ THESE POSTS, AND ARE OFFENDED, WE’RE SORRY BUT WE DID WARN YOU!
I’m running the London Marathon tomorrow (donate here!), I’ve never done it before and it’s definitely pushing past my known limitations. The training has been a mixture of joy and despair, with blood, sweat and tears in the mix, but I feel proud of what I’ve achieved. Today is the day before the marathon (donate here!) and I’ve done a good job thus far of not letting my demons get the better of me, with their whispery voices trying make me scared of failing. Over time I’ve learned not to listen to these voices where possible, and know that the fact they’re shouting at me proves I’m pushing at my boundaries and growing.
Any time you get out of your comfort zone and do something difficult, your demons are going to flare up and try to put you off – Seth Godin has eloquently written about it – but you have the choice to quieten these voices and change your focus towards the positives of the experience.
Turns out Amy, from Amy’s Sassy Stitches, has stitched about this very thing, albeit in a more succinct way. If your demon voice is getting the better of you…
