Time for another look at some of the great work featured in the forums at Craftster. Note: Although they’re the pick of this week, they may have appeared before this week.
This week’s pick was made by orangeponcho for an activist friend.
Here’s orangeponcho’s explanation of the patch: For anyone who doesn’t get it, I think the gist is that the environment affects everyone, human survival depends on it, and doing something about it is not just to aid fluffy megafauna. It was an amazing conversation starter for me while embroidering it, so I hope it’s a great conversation starter for my friend while wearing it. And yes, polar bears are cute, so we should save the environment for them along with everyone else.
I love the statement this makes and she’s done some lovely stitching, too! Read more about how she put the whole piece together in her original craftster post.
Great stuff, and we look forward to seeing more!
