Craftster Pick of the Week – Monopoly!

It's the Craftster Pick of the Week - brought to you by Mr X Stitch!

Time for another look at some of the great work featured in the forums at Craftster. Note: Although they’re the pick of this week, they may have appeared before this week.

This week’s pick was brought to us by CraftySasha.

When I saw the thumbnail of this picture, I thought it was an actual Monopoly board.

But look closer…

And even closer. Holy Park Place, this is an awesome project!

See the original Craftster post here, and be sure to come back next week for another great pick from the forums!

  • My ex & I made one of those for his brother 25+ years ago. It took nearly a year to finish. I remember staying up all night Christmas eve adding the last few stitches. I washed it, ironed it dry, and wrapped it, still a little damp, in xmas paper. The brother’s comment when he opened it? “Geez. You didn’t even frame it!” That was the last time I gave anything hand-made to that *sshat.

    • That is terrible Joan!!! I hate wasting a labor of love like that.

This project was such a commitment. I would have been so board with all the white stitches. I did a project recently that was 4 different shades of almost the same color blue (8″ x 11″) and I was ready to blow my brains out.

  • this is amazing! I agree with Adam, I would go crazy doing all those white stitches!!
