Craftster Pick of the Week – Albert Einstein Hand Embroidery

It's the Craftster Pick of the Week - brought to you by Mr X Stitch!

Time for another look at some of the great work featured in the forums at Craftster. Note: Although they’re the pick of this week, they may have appeared before this week.

The pick this week was posted by digital misfit, who has been posting all kinds of wonderful things lately. In less than a week she’s posted all this embroidery! Our favorite so far has been this depiction of Albert Einstein.

Relatively Speaking by digital misfit

She used yarn for the hair, separating the plys and mussing it up after she was finished to achieve Einstein’s signature look.

Relatively Speaking detail by digital misfit

Simply wonderful, and from someone new to embroidery, too! See her original post on Craftster here. If you would like to see more from digital misfit, check out her flickr photostream or her blog.
