Too Cute Tuesday – Catfish by Sister Twisty

My friends, prepare yourself for the crazy textured stitching of Sister Twisty’s Catfish. So insanely adorable!

Sister Twisty made this little kitty fish for the FFFOF Bestiary Swap, organized by yours truly. I’m proud to have organized a swap that inspired little creature.

Look at the fur texture she achieved from split stitch. Look at the shells woven into the surface of her piece.

I’m not exaggerating when I say Sister Twisty has amazing stitching skills. When you look at the work in her flickr stream and her blog, you will see a mastery of fill stitch that is extreme and unique.

Go Sister Twisty!

Too Cute Tuesdays are brought to you in association with our friends over at Feeling Stitchy!
