Too Cute Tuesday – The Groke by Cross-stitch ninja

I know nothing about Cross-stitch ninja except her nom de stitch, but I love her black, cross stitch portrait of the enigmatic Groke from the bewitching Moomin series by Tove Jansson.

The Groke is a lonely, bleak character. She appears for the first time in the Finn Family Moomintroll. The ground freezes beneath her feet. Maybe she is not traditionally “cute,” but she is cute to me!
