It’s been a while since I shared my exploits with you, but there’s a lot of stuff on the horizon, so I thought you should know about it!
First up, on Thursday 27th February I’m starting my monthly residency at Make Thrift London with a workshop on making cross stitch brooches! Make Thrift London specialise in upcycling, and these brooches are made using bottle tops! It’s a simple idea and by the time you’re done, you’ll have the power to make brooches all over the place!
If you’re interested, sign up for the workshop here!
On Saturday 1st March I’ll be at Toft Alpaca Farm where I’ll be doing my “Life at the Cutting (& Stitching) Edge talk” features a smorgasbord of images of amazing embroidery, delivered in my own unique style! You’ll also get a tour of the farm to understand how Toft make their amazing wool!
Book your space here!
Don’t forget that on Monday 3rd March there’s another X Stitch Hangout at Drink Shop & Do in London. The picture above gives you an idea of what to expect – cross stitch, cake, cocktails and some wiseacre called Mr X Stitch. If you know how to stitch, excellent! If you don’t, we’ll teach you! It’s £5 and it’s a great way to finish the first day of the working week!
But wait! There’s more! Be sure to come along to the Spring Knitting & Stitching Show at Olympia in March. I’ll have a stand in partnership with Young Embroiderers and there will be all kinds of stitchy goodness for you to enjoy. I’ll tell you more about that nearer the time, but be sure to put it in your diaries!
Do you want me to come and do stitchy stuff in your neck of the woods? Check out our workshops page and contact us for more info!
