Haley learned the basics of needle felting in 2013, and has since come to utilize it as her prime mode of artistic expression and animal rendition. The majority of her work is what one might call faux taxidermy: a realistic, vegetarian, interpretation of the art of mounted animal statuary. Haley also enjoys working with whole animal forms, cryptids, and more fantastic realizations.
