Sometimes in researching this column I come across images that I love, but that don’t fit in with the column that month. Or I’m a little late discovering an artist who would have been perfect for last month’s column. I usually file them away for later, but this month I have decided to showcase a few of those images in all their glory. These beauties shouldn’t have to wait around!
Earfox is Swedish artist Cecelia E. Arnqvist. She works in other media in addition to felt, but I just can’t get over how perfect this polka dot fox is! Find more of her creations on DeviantArt.
Whimsy Calling, aka Dayna Corbitt, is mainly a sculptor of polymer clay miniatures, however she does occasionally create fiber sculptures like the ones pictured above. Find her miniatures on Instagram and in her Etsy shop.
If you would like to submit your portfolio (or an artist you admire) for consideration for this column, please complete this form. It’s quick and easy!
Zoe Williams creates needle felt sculptures based on dreams and visions. She lives and works in New York City.
