Hi everyone, it’s time to reveal the winners of the competitions we ran in the August FFFoF!
Six people won awesome prizes, however there was one loser – me!
One of the competitions, to win a signed copy of PUSH: Stitchery, involved you tweeting with a specific hashtag #mrxstitchis4. Little did I know that Twitter would eat the hashtags after a week, so when I came to get the tweets and choose a winner, there were none there! Clearly this is no good, so I’m going to relaunch the competition, but with a Facebook focus this time.
To win a signed copy of PUSH: Stitchery, just visit the Mr X Stitch fan page, and send a message (not a comment) saying “I want to win PUSH: Stitchery #bonehead” and after the new closing date of Midnight (GMT) on Wednesday 19th September, I’ll pick a winner at random.
Sorry for the balls up there, folks!
Speaking of lessons learned, well done to everyone who persisted and entered the competition to win one of four Subversive Cross Stitch vouchers. Who would have thought my spam filter would prevent messages filled with links from getting through. Answer: Anyone with a brain. Aaaaaanyway, we got there in the end and congratulations to the following four winners, each of whom gets a $25 SCS voucher!
Congrats to Feminizzle!
And Sister Twisty!
To claim your voucher, email mrx[at]mrxstitch.com and I’ll send you the prize!
Next up we had an Urban Threads competition. and we had one lucky winner there! Congrats to Debi Gibson! Email me, Debi and I’ll send you the voucher!
And finally, someone had the chance to win an original Mr X Stitch cross stitch! The lucky winner was Melissa “Ziggy” Cook! Congrats! Ping me an email and I’ll get the piece in the post to you!
Thanks to everyone who took part and don’t forget to enter the Facebook page competition for a chance to win that signed copy of PUSH: Stitchery!
