London Embroidery School Presents New 2016 Stock Items

With the new year the London Embroidery School presents new 2016 stock items and course dates to bring to you to enjoy this year.

Look out for our new specialist materials stock, with extra colours and thicknesses of bullion for ‘goldwork’, including metallic and brightly coloured finishes!

 

Also new to our shop are half fine gold spangles, (a beautiful, luxurious material to embellish with), and new weights of tambour hooks.

Coming soon, our new tambour hook trio pack with all three weights; fine, medium and heavy, which will be available to buy online shortly!

If you are excieted by the new products but not quite sure what to do with them then join us for the Beginners Goldwork Evening Course, starting on the 20th of Jan or the Goldwork Weekend Workshop on Saturday 30th Jan. Also coming up soon is the Limerick Lace Class on the 3rd Feb at our Soho studio and the start of the Beginners Tambour Beading Evening Course on the 10th Feb which is being held at Seven Dials in Covent Garden, ideal for anyone with mobility issues.  There are many other dates and classes avaliable so check our website for all the details.


Claire Barrett
Claire Barrett is an embroidery designer who has been working in the embroidery industry for six years. A former Creative Director at Hand & Lock, Claire runs Hawthorne & Heaney, dealing with celebrity clients such as Kanye West and high profile companies such as Henry Poole & Company Savile Row tailors. Claire is passionate about making embroidery accessible to everyone by offering sponsorships to young designers and even running the London Embroidery School to teach beginners classes to those who are interested in getting a taste of what embroidery has to offer.
