Mr X Stitch – The Future

Hi Folks,
Mr X Stitch here.
We (Beefranck and I) hope that you’ve enjoyed the week of Cutting and Stitching Edge posts that we put together for you. There are some tremendous stitchers out there, and the ones we’ve shown this week are terrific examples. We will continue to scour the interweb for more stitching superstars to post about, and we welcome your suggestions for people we should mention.
We’re doing a bit of tweaking to the post threads that will appear here on the blog and refining our focus to concentrate purely on the stitching arts. Here’s what you can expect from in the future.

The Cutting & Stitching Edge – your weekly showcase of another embroidery artist that is pushing the boundaries of the genre.

Beefranck’s Emporium of Embroidered Excellence and Splendiforous Stitchery – a 3D Viewmaster look at the Threadiverse brought you to by the High Priestess of ironic stitchery.

Craftster Pick of the Week – our choice of the best work as produced by the needlecraft ninjas over at Craftster.

Craft Heroes – monthly interviews with some of the greats from the world of contemporary stitch.

And as if that wasn’t enough, when we come across stitchery that excites us and we want to you share the love, we are going to give you Stitchgasms! Oh yes, that’s right. Stitchgasms. Be sure to keep some Kleenex handy..!

In case you hadn’t realised already, we really love stitchery and want to share it with you. But we want you to share your findings with us as well, so if you see something that we ought to know about, drop us a line. Email me – – and we’ll not just post about it, we’ll make sure you get the big props for finding it.
So there you go – it’s been six months and we’re going from strength to strength. We’re glad you’re here and we hope you’ll help us!

Big love!

Mr X
