This week I’m featuring a series from the wonderful Lou Trigg, Men Who Watch Too Much Porn. I was lucky enough to see the series unfold as she posted each new piece online, and I really love the message she is sending with it. Lou told me a little bit about it:

These are situations where I can’t help but feel perhaps a blow up doll would be a more appropriate ‘partner’ for the man who likes to churn out lines he has heard in porn films whilst ejaculating over a face; any willing face or mouth will do.

I tried to capture a look of boredom, distaste perhaps, in the eyes of the woman in my stitchures as I believe that’s what she was feeling.

Porn is so dismissive of women. The language used (bitch, slut, whore, etc.) and the dominant behaviour of ‘the money shot’ “the ultimate idealistic male viewpoint “the man ejaculating onto a woman’s face or body or in her mouth while she does her job of lick lipping and pretending to be orgasmic at the mere thought of spunk on her face.
