Today we’re honoring someone special. She’s a talented artist with an eye for beauty and a brilliant mind. She’s also FILTHY. 🙂 So if you’re ready for some Penny Nickels action, scroll past the interspecies snorgling and let’s get to it!
WARNING!
NSFW SATURDAYS WILL CONTAIN CONTENT THAT IS NOT SAFE FOR WORK!
IF YOU READ THESE POSTS, AND ARE OFFENDED, WE’RE SORRY BUT WE DID WARN YOU!
This is one of those rare posts where Beefranck and I both have something to say about the subject. And we’re both massive fans of Penny. Her stitching is phenomenal and she is one of the coolest cats (and loveliest people) to ever have picked up a needle and thread.
So without further ado, heeeere’s Beefranck!
Beefranck: Penny asked me if I wanted to do a personal swap after I expressed admiration for the dirty pillows that were posted here previously. I am now the proud owner of this gorgeous thing:
I absolutely love it. One interesting point – the cover snaps closed in case someone with a sensitive disposition is coming over and you don’t want to offend them. I’m pleased to say I have never had to use this feature. 🙂
Mr X: Is that because you never have visitors? Or because they’re all as tough as nails?
Beefranck: Tough as nails, for sure. You couldn’t handle it round at my house…
Mr X: I bet. I am the toughest man in England, but I freely acknowledge that means nothing in your part of the world.
Beefranck: Yep, and don’t you forget it!
Mr X: Aaaannnyway, it’s my turn now. I scored gold when I ended up receiving the following piece of wonderment from Penny in the NSFW swap over at the Phat Quarter.
Based on a scene from Lost Girls by Alan Moore and Melinda Gebbie, it is a truly fantastic piece of work and I’m pleased as punch to own it.
You can see more of Penny’s marvellousness at her blog, and in 2010 she will be joining the Mr X Stitch family as one of our guest posters. Awesome.
What naughtiness have you swapped with people in the past twelve months? Come on, tell us, you know you want to!
