Does cute always have to feature a face?
Not MY definition of cute. Case in point this lovely, bright and cheerful Periodic Table of Elements by HugsAreFun.
I adore the crisp simplicity of the design. Turns out it is based on the table from They Might Be Giants’ Meeting the Elements. The piece is so large (10 x 15 inches) and took so long to make that, during the stitching, one of the elements changed names!
Read more about this wonderful piece on HugsAreFun’s website and explore her work in her flickr stream. This Periodic Table has the same fresh quality as her Solar System for the Blinded by Science Phat Quarter Swap.
Too Cute Tuesdays are brought to you in association with our friends over at Feeling Stitchy!
