Plush Delights – Plush Pups by Entala

Wow, September already and here in Vancouver Fall arrived abruptly. I do love the changing seasons though. and I am happy that boot wearing weather is almost here.
This week I happen to be dog sitting, Loki a large chocolate dog is absolutely my favourite companion for a walk in the woods and extra enjoyment is added by the fact that scenes for “Once upon a time” are being shot in the woods at the moment. Our favourite woods are often used as a film location and I just love to see the sets, at the moment there is what looks like a stone crypt. Other times I have come across 3 feet tall toadstools and a few years ago there were the little houses from the second Percy Jackson movie, they stayed there for months.

Anyway, the dog sitting brought plush artist Entala to mind. I discovered Entala‘s work on Instagram and although she makes various plush creatures, I am especially taken with her plush dogs.

Sometimes as I scroll through my Instagram feed I have to do a double take to see if I’m looking at a photo of an actually living dog!

She certainly specializes in the bully breeds with squished faces but you will also see the odd Chihuahua or Jack Russell pop up.

Entala will custom make a plush version of your own pup and if you look through her sold items on Etsy you will see photos of the real life dogs and their plush doppelgangers.

There are also different facial expressions to choose from, happy, serious and my favourite is with the tongue sticking out.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better there are even little hats for the plush dogs, yes, little hats! You’re welcome!
