Many moons ago At the end of last month we held two book review competitions, giving you the chance to win a copy of either Rebecca Ringquist’s Embroidery Workshops or Do It Yourself Stitch People by Lizzy Dabczynski-Bean. Sorry it’s taken this long to post the winners, but here goes!
We like to keep our competitions simple, so all you had to do was comment on the posts for a chance to win. I’m gonna be straight with you, we didn’t have a lot of entries, which is good news for those that did, but seriously folks, these are free books, so you’re gonna have to get with it next time!
For Rebecca’s book, which we described as filled with “projects [that] will inspire you to make a groovy range of homewares and will enhance your stitching skills along the way“, all you had to do was leave a comment with some stitchy wisdom.
We had 8 entries (I know, right?) and having put them through the Random Number Generator, the lucky winner was Kathy! Congrats Kathy! Drop us a line with your address and the book will be heading your way!
We also gave you the chance to win a copy of DIY Stitch People, “a terrific resource for anyone who wants to make personalised cross stitches“. As before, just leaving a comment with a funny family anecdote was enough to get you a shot at winning this great book and we had 16 comments this time!
The Random Generator did it’s magic and Cheryl was the winner!
Well done Cheryl – send us your address and we’ll get it in the post!
Thanks to everyone who took part, and stay tuned for our next book competitions! Loveyoubye!
