Sprite Stitch Best Bits – August ’10

This month we are showcasing all projects pokemon! Let me preface this by saying that I know very little about pokemon, I think I missed the bandwagon by a year or two… but, the game is super popular on my site, so I thought I’d show you all the best projects I’ve seen lately…

First we have a classic fight screenshot by bamiyan.

Here we have a small quick project of pokemon badges by purcell_a05.

Next we have a cute persian pokemon pillow by lady cooper.

This stitching was done by dragonfoxmem for our April Fool’s Challenge.

We’ll save the best project for last…Currently there are about 5 people on the forums that are attempting this epic pokemon pattern. It contains every pokemon from generation 1. I included a progress shot by chouchou26e as it is the farthest along…

See you next month! Pee-Ka-Choo!

Lord Libidan

Born to British Aristocracy, the man now known as Lord Libidan discovered the art of cross stitch while in a Buddhist monastery high in the Himalayan mountains. After meditating on the craft for years, he emerged from his retreat ready to challenge the prevailing paradigm and elevate embroidery to new levels. Focusing his talents on video game and pop culture cross stitches, he produces work that pushes as the boundaries of the form.
