Sprite Stitch Best Bits – January ’12

Sprite Stitch Best Bits

We’re back! And we aim to stay this time! Every month I, Lord Libidan, will give you the run down of the forums over at Sprite Stitch.

Seeing as we’ve been missing for over a year now, lets have a quick recap!

First up is this sweet Bobomb love stitch by LizzyStitches, which will soon feature in Nintendo Power magazine.

These Gotham Girls by nintendophile created a storm in the forums.

Next up are these cute Scott Pilgrim animal necklaces by Pixel Stitches.

This Donkey Kong and Tron mash-up by spinuntilyoufall won one of our monthly challenges.

And last but not least, we have the completed Epic Pokemon cross stitch by inkdnjabd we posted the pattern of over a year and a half ago.

See you next month!

Lord Libidan is a rising star in the cross stitch world, most recently focusing on video games. He now blogs for Sprite Stitch, a popular video game craft blog. He hand picks the best from the ever active community at the Sprite Stitch Forums.

Lord Libidan
Born to British Aristocracy, the man now known as Lord Libidan discovered the art of cross stitch while in a Buddhist monastery high in the Himalayan mountains. After meditating on the craft for years, he emerged from his retreat ready to challenge the prevailing paradigm and elevate embroidery to new levels. Focusing his talents on video game and pop culture cross stitches, he produces work that pushes as the boundaries of the form.
