Sprite Stitch Best Bits – March ’10

In an effort to keep my monthly posts interesting, and not just a summary of my blogging, I thought I’d expose you to the periodic “challenges” that we do over at the sprite stitch forums. For the short month of February we decided to do a bookmark contest. We are currently voting on the winner for last month’s challenge, so I thought I’d show you the top 4 contenders…

Currently in first place we have an awesome original design by techno-ninja featuring a boo from mario and pikachu from pokemon. In a close second we have Amaterasu from Okami by Awenmir

In 3rd and 4th place we have the wonderful donkey kong bookmark made by me, and a great pastel looking bookmark of kirby’s dreamland made by riotpatch.

You can see all 14 entries at our february voting page!

Thanks for reading, if you join our forums today you can get a quick vote in on your favorite before the voting ends today!

Lord Libidan
Born to British Aristocracy, the man now known as Lord Libidan discovered the art of cross stitch while in a Buddhist monastery high in the Himalayan mountains. After meditating on the craft for years, he emerged from his retreat ready to challenge the prevailing paradigm and elevate embroidery to new levels. Focusing his talents on video game and pop culture cross stitches, he produces work that pushes as the boundaries of the form.
