Stitch Fetish, Past and Present

https://www.mrxstitch.com/category/discover/curationism/
You may be aware (then again you may not) that I curate a show every February in Los Angeles called Stitch Fetish. It’s all stitchy erotica and it gives me such joy to put together each year. One of my goals in putting it together, and one of the pieces of feedback I get, is that it’s whimsical and not at all objectifying of women. From start to finish – getting submissions, receiving the artwork in the mail (like christmas!), hanging the show, the opening, the run of the show – the whole process is fabulous and just gets better each year.

As I’ve begun gearing up for Stitch Fetish 4 in February 2016, I thought it was a nice moment to look back at some fo the works from Stitch Fetish 3.

So you can see, that while it is a show of erotica, it’s as fun and funny as it is dirty. Submissions are open for Stitch Fetish 4. Please do submit, some of the most amazing pieces each year come from people I was unaware of beforehand. Submissions are open until mid December; all the needed info is HERE. Now get sexy stitching’!
