This is a stitched representation of my Pepeha.
A Pepeha is a way of introducing yourself in Maori. It tells people who you are by sharing your connections with the people and places that are important to you.
This story connects my waka (canoe), and iwi (tribe) and identifies my connection with my maunga (mountain), awa (river) and marae (meeting house) building a sense of identity and belonging.
