Today is a special day in the history of space exploration. It’s the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar mission. To celebrate this, I wanted to share this amazing embroidery from beche-la-mer.
She used a topographical map of the far side of the moon as a reference. Over a month of work went into this, and it shows.
Simply stunning. See what else beche-la-mer has been up to (hyperbolic crochet, anyone?) at her blog.
