This week London Town is not only playing a bedgrudging host to the Pope, but also to a Fashion Week. The London Craftivist Collective decided to make their presence felt at the latter, and point out discrepancies and injustices in the world of fashion by angling their well known mini protest banners toward the fashionistas.
Sarah Corbett snuck into the premises, at London’s Somerset House, and left behind a little message:
“Lowest paid models at London Fashion Week paid £125 an hour. Majority of garment workers in Vietnam paid £25 a month.”
