Craftypod is a great blog/podcast about making things. Recently Sister Diane, aka Diane Gilleland, was inspired to embroider on some metal discs she had purchased for another purpose when she noticed the holes in them could be used as embroidery guides.
Very pretty, and she was able to find a few different uses for them as well.
Here’s a cuff bracelet she put together.
She also made a two-sided pendant. Very cool!
If you would like to try this yourself, Diane has been nice enough to provide a link to her source for these discs as well as some great tutorials here. Check it out!
