Stitchgasm! – Hine’s Japanese Traditional Monsters

Do you sometimes think to yourself, “Sure, I could just read a book tonight, but what I REALLY feel like doing is building a traditional Japanese monster”?

Hine put together this handy collection of interchangeable pieces that can be used as a build-a-monster workshop!

Japanese Traditional Monster #2(妖怪 黒ぼっち その2)

This is my favorite version. 🙂 See more from Hine in her flickr photostream or her blog.

  • I *LOVE* it! I had to go back and watch it again just to make sure I really saw the word “ectoplasm.” Rad.

Although something tells me that I could be locked in a closet with that kit for days and still never come up with anything as cute as those examples! Thanks for sharing this!
