Stitchgasm! – LynetteA’s embroidered silverware

Another Stitchgasm from Mr X StitchHere at Mr X Stitch, we know that Severija Incirauskaite-Kriaunevicience isn’t the only person embroidering on metal work, and so we were over the moon to see LynetteA’s contribution to the Phat Quarter swap, a fingerprint stitched on a silver platter.

She calls it “The Anatomy of Identity” – we call it freaking awesome!

Lynette’s a goldworker who is branching out into embroidery as well. Here’s a selection of some of her works:

  • Amazing work. I love the slipping away one

  • I’ve been admiring her work for a long while now and am so glad she was featured and that we’re both members of Phat Quarter! Look at me hangin’ with all the cool kids (finally)!

  • I was so thrilled to see that the first piece was a part of the Phat Quarter swap. I’ve been lurking in her photostream and didn’t even realize she was taking part in the swap. Her work is amazing!

  • Those are just awesome pieces. I so want a ring like that only with cross stitch instead of french knots 😉

  • Thank you, thank you! 🙂 You guys are wayyy too nice!
