Stitchgasm! – Overheard by iamholly

These cross stitches were inspired by overheard statements.

The idea that a random statement someone made in passing was turned into a cross stitch piece that took hours to complete absolutely tickles me. 🙂 Wonderful stuff, iamholly!

    me and my stitching group ‘itchin’ for stitchin’ ( are working towards an exhibition of our overheard stitchings called ’embroidering the truth’ in june, in Hull, so theres lots more in this series! and lots to do! stitching, ironing, framing etc but we’re all very excited! we’re having an all day charity ‘Stitch in’ on may 30th to raise money and have a whole day of glorious uninterrupted stitching! so hopefully get lots done then!
