And now, for a Stitchgasm with soul.
Stop for a moment and ponder. How often do you shower yourself with negative messages about your perceived failings, flaws or lack of worth?
What if you pressed the pause button for a moment. What if, instead of putting energy into negative self-talk, you took the time to stitch positive, but never treacly, messages. What if, with each stitch, you remind yourself of an entirely different reality in which you are enough just as you are?
As Betsy writes on her website, “Craftivism is about healing ourselves as we stitch, and then healing the world with the product, so this project is about taking a microstep to help other people, to let them know that they are so very many wonderful things. And to remind ourselves that we are so many wonderful things.”
