Stitching in Public Day is Here – Giveaway!

Woo-hoo! The day has come, people! Today is Stitching in Public Day, and it’s time to get out there and stitch, just like Mr X Stitch already has:

Stitching at the skate shop

Of course, if you can’t make it happen today, that’s okay… but we’d still love to see more of you stitching in public any day of the year. So much so that we’re having a giveaway courtesy of the great folks at Kreinik to encourage you!

How do you get in on the action? Simple! Add a photo to the Stitching in Public group that we’ve created at Flickr sometime between now and the end of the day on Friday, September 10th. A winner will be chosen randomly from the pictures in the pool and will receive a set of holographic threads just like these:

thread in a row

Well, what are you waiting for? Get out there and stitch! 🙂

  • James – you’re good! We’re going to use photos from when the group was created through next Friday. But if you want to add more, we’ll be happy with that, too! 🙂

  • I thought you wanted to make that day at your birthday.
Damn… so I totally missed it.
Please make it an event on facebook for next year.

    • We’ll do what we can Charly.
Don’t let that stop you stitching in public though – we’re still accepting photos until 10th September for the Kreinik prize draw! 🙂

  • You mean it isn’t normal to stitch in public? No wonder I keep getting weird looks, lol. I do it all the time. In the car, at the mall, anytime I have to stop for longer then two minutes. If I can fit a stitch in then my stitching is in my hands.
